Nylon 66 MoS₂ is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic made by incorporating molybdenum disulfide, a solid lubricant, into PA66 to significantly enhance its sliding and wear characteristics while retaining the inherent strength and thermal stability of Nylon 66. The addition of MoS₂ gives the material its typical grey colour and acts as a nucleating and lubricating agent inside the polymer matrix, resulting in improved rigidity, hardness, and dimensional stability along with lower friction and reduced heat generation during sliding contact. This makes Nylon 66 MoS₂ ideal for applications where components operate under continuous wear, moderate load, or limited lubrication, such as bushings, bearings, gears, wear pads, pulleys, guide rails, and other moving mechanical parts. Compared to unfilled PA66, it offers superior abrasion resistance and smoother operation with less maintenance, although its impact strength is slightly reduced due to the filler. Overall, Nylon 66 MoS₂ provides an excellent balance of strength, lubrication, durability, and thermal performance, making it a reliable material for industrial and engineering applications requiring long service life and consistent mechanical performance.

N66 CF20 is a Nylon 66 grade reinforced with 20% carbon fiber, engineered to deliver exceptional mechanical strength, high stiffness, and improved dimensional stability compared to unfilled PA66.
